IFA 2025: From Lenovo Legion Go 2 to HMD Pulse 2 Pro, All the Expected Announcements During Tech Show

IFA Berlin 2025 will kick off this week. Considered one of Europe’s most important consumer electronics trade shows, the show will take place from September 5 to 9 and is expected to witness the launch of devices across categories from some of the world’s leading brands. Visitors can expect to see a lot from concept devices to mass-market products. With just days left until IFA Berlin 2025, several companies have already announced their product showcases.

There are reports that HMD may launch the Pulse 2 Pro mobile phone, while Lenovo is expected to launch products such as the Legion Go 2 gaming handheld machine. Here are all the expected announcements from IFA Berlin 2025.

Lenovo product display

According to rumors, Lenovo is preparing to launch a new concept laptop with a screen that can switch between landscape and portrait modes. It was allegedly named “Project Pivo.” The leaked renders show a laptop with a traditional display that can switch between horizontal and vertical orientations.

The former is said to add extra vertical screen space for reading and coding purposes, while the latter enables standard use.

In addition, Lenovo Legion Go 2 equipped with Steam operating system is also expected to be displayed. The handheld gaming computer will reportedly share several features with its predecessor, including detachable controllers and an OLED screen.

The prototype was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January 2025 and features an AMD Ryzen Z2 Extreme chipset, a 1200p OLED touch screen with 144Hz variable refresh rate support, 32GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB PCIe SSD storage.

It is reported that Lenovo also plans to launch the IdeaPad Plus and Yoga Tab tablets, ThinkPad P1 Gen 8, ThinkVision P40WD-40 monitor, LOQ Tower 26ADR10 and ThinkPad Thunderbolt 5 Smart Dock 7500 at the 2025 IFA show in Berlin.

Motorola Edge 60 Neo and Moto G06 are expected to launch

Not only Lenovo, but its brands will also launch new products. Motorola, owned by Lenovo, is said to be launching the Motorola Edge 60 Fusion as the latest member of the Motorola Edge 60 series.

Apart from this, Moto G06 and Moto G06 Power are also likely to debut. Apart from the battery, the two phones are expected to share internals, with the “Power” version having a larger capacity.

Pulse 2 Pro by Humane Mobile Devices

Humane Mobile Devices (short for HMD) is rumored to launch the Pulse 2 Pro smartphone at the 2025 IFA show in Berlin. It is expected to be a follow-up to the HMD Pulse Pro launched in April this year with a starting price of €180 (Rs. 16,000).

Reports suggest that the phone may feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD screen. It is likely to be powered by Unosic T615 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is said that HMD Pulse 2 Pro may come with a 5,000mAh battery and a 50-megapixel rear camera.

Acer Global Conference

Acer announced its global conference during the consumer electronics trade show. The company will launch its “coming soon” products at IFA 2025, including Copilot+ PCs, AI PCs and latest monitors. However, the specifics of what may be announced remain under wraps.

Hisense RGB-MiniLED upgrade

In July, Hisense launched the 116-inch UX RGB-MiniLED TV. It features dedicated red, green and blue LEDs that enable the TV to reach peak brightness of up to 8,000 nits, among other benefits.

The company now says it will announce powerful hardware improvements and AI-powered TV software at IFA 2025. The upgrades are designed to bring “fans closer to every moment of the game.”

The latest member of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series

Samsung has announced a new Galaxy event ahead of IFA 2025, where it is expected to launch the Galaxy S25 FE as the latest member of its flagship Galaxy S25 series. In addition, several artificial intelligence tablets may also appear. This includes the Galaxy Tab A10 Lite and possibly the Galaxy Tab S11 series.
