CyberPowerPC India has announced a new campaign aimed at making the PC buying experience in India more transparent. Through the ‘Gaming Guarantee’, the Indian arm of the US retailer assures buyers that the customized PCs they buy will use brand new, genuine parts from authorized manufacturers. As part of the program, the company also promises one year of on-site support and dispatches certified technicians to make repairs or replacements.
CyberPowerPC India’s Gaming Guarantee Campaign
CyberPowerPC India says its aim is to increase buyer confidence in the performance and reliability of their systems. These high-investment purchases are often made without gaining hands-on experience, thus increasing uncertainty about their performance, at least until they get it home and run a game with it.
The company calls it a “first of its kind” product in the country’s custom PC market and offers a 30-day satisfaction guarantee on its Play Ready system. If gamers are not satisfied with their system, they can return it within the 30-day return period. The move was announced amid NeoGrowth research, which highlighted that 54% of Indian consumers prefer online shopping due to uncertainty about authenticity and product quality.
The company promises that custom computers will be built using 100% new parts from authorized manufacturers. Refurbished parts imported from the gray market are not involved.
In addition, it will conduct pre-shipment performance testing covering CPU, GPU, memory and cooling components to ensure quality control. According to CyberPowerPC India, every system will come pre-installed with Microsoft Windows at the BIOS level. This is said to eliminate post-purchase license issues or any hidden software costs.
Purchasing a custom PC also comes bundled with one year of on-site support. If the user encounters any problem with their system, we will provide them with certified technicians who will travel to their location for repair or replacement depending on the severity of the problem. CyberPowerPC India said it is also investing in India’s PC market and working behind the scenes to bring high performance to a wider range of gamers at more affordable prices.
