Former Bellator champion Yaroslav Amosov has excelled in the promotion and is now a UFC champion.
Amosov (29-1 MMA, 1-0 UFC) takes on welterweight mainstay Neil Magny in a preliminary card on UFC on ESPN 73 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. Amousov took some time to figure out Magny (31-14 MMA, 24-13 UFC) and ended the first round with a submission at 3:14.

When all fights begin, there are some compelling foot exchanges that Amosov is willing to take. However, he saw an opening on the fence and completed a takedown. From there, Amosov landed a few punches before transitioning into a python choke, trapping Magny and forcing him to tap.
