Three players listed as out for Tennessee-South Carolina basketball

No. 25 Tennessee (20-9, 10-6 SEC) will play South Carolina (12-17, 3-13 SEC) on Tuesday. The game between the Vols and Gamecocks is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET at Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina.

SEC Network will broadcast the matchup live on the conference call with Kevin Fitzgerald (play-by-play) and Perry Clark (analyst).

Beginning with the 2024-25 athletic calendar, the SEC is mandating that schools provide public reporting on student-athlete participation in every conference game in football, men’s basketball, women’s basketball and baseball.

Preliminary availability reports for Tuesday’s SEC basketball game between Tennessee and South Carolina are listed below.

Tennessee vs. South Carolina Basketball Game Injury Report

Tennessee junior forward Cade Phillips is out. He will miss the remainder of the 2025-26 basketball season due to a recurring shoulder injury.

“We will truly miss Cade’s time on the court and he is certainly disappointed that he will not be able to finish the regular season, but it is vital that he remains healthy,” Barnes said on December 8, 2025. “Cade has done everything he can to get through this injury for as long as possible.”

Freshman guard Clarence Massamba and freshman forward Nate Ament are also listed as out for the Vols.

Graduate guard Myles Stout will likely represent South Carolina.
