The Chargers signed defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson to a one-year, $7.5 million contract, with $6 million fully guaranteed.
Tomlinson was waived by the Cardinals on March 6, clearing $9.4 million in cap space. Days later, he signed a deal with the Bolts.

Last season, Tomlinson started all 17 games for the Cardinals, finishing with 26 tackles, three tackles for loss and one sack. The 32-year-old has been a journeyman in nine seasons in the NFL with the Giants, Vikings and Browns.
The addition of Tomlinson will provide another experienced veteran to Chris O’Leary’s defense. Additionally, he should help the Chargers’ run defense.
Tomlinson is general manager Joe Hortiz’s latest sneaky smart pickup.
