Early in the second quarter on Christmas Day against the Minnesota Vikings (7-8), the Detroit Lions (8-7) announced the return of starting defensive tackle Aleem McNeil as questionable.

McNeil entered the game at U.S. Bank Stadium in inconsistent form. On the Lions’ final injury report, McNeil was listed as questionable with an abdominal injury. However, McNeil is not among the Lions’ inactive players and he started against the Vikings.
