How to Download MIUI 12 Super Live Wallpapers on Other Android Phones

Xiaomi recently launched MIUI 12, the latest version of the company’s customized version of Android. The new software brings a lot of new features and improvements to the already feature-rich MIUI, and in this article, we will discuss one of the new features in MIUI 12 – Super Wallpapers. If you are like us and think the new live wallpapers in MIUI 12 are an absolute must-have for your device, then we have some good news for you. Yes, MIUI 12 wallpaper download is available for most Android phones.

While MIUI 12 won’t be rolling out anytime soon, the Super Wallpapers feature can now be installed on other Android smartphones besides Xiaomi, thanks to the hard work of the XDA Developers community. Xiaomi has partnered with NASA to bring these Earth and Mars themed live wallpapers. These wallpapers are unique in that they show you images of distant planets on the lock screen, then zoom in to show you a close-up when you unlock your device. Keep reading this guide and we will tell you how to get the MIUI 12 Live Wallpaper apk for your Android smartphone.

Before we go ahead and tell you the steps, you need to make sure that your Android smartphone is eligible to get these new wallpapers. This means that your Android device should be running at least Android Oreo 8.1 or higher to install Super Wallpapers, otherwise unfortunately you won’t be able to download them. Having said that, please follow these steps:

  1. On your Android smartphone, go to Google Chrome and click here. This is the MIUI 12 wallpaper download link.

  2. Once the page loads, scroll down a bit and click on the green button that says Click here to start downloading. Now, wait a few seconds until the website loads some links.

  3. Next, Click on the first link from the list. You will receive a prompt asking if you want to download this file, click Continue download.

  4. After downloading the file, go to the file manager and find the downloaded file. Now Click on file Install it.

  5. Now you can set these beautiful wallpapers on your Android device just by going to the stock wallpaper settings on your phone. To access these wallpapers you can Long press on home screen and click wallpaper on most Android phones. However, it may vary from device to device.

  6. In our case, we tested it on a OnePlus 6T running Android 10, and this method worked very well for us, with the wallpaper appearing alongside the other stock wallpapers on our device.

  7. However, if the wallpaper still doesn’t appear after installation, you may want to Install the Google Wallpaper app From Google Play. This should definitely solve the problem.

By following the steps below, you will be able to get these cool new MIUI 12 wallpapers on your Android smartphone. As we mentioned before, make sure you have an Android Oreo 8.1 or higher device and you’re good to go.
