Netflix (NFLXThe second NFL Christmas Game Day game between the Detroit Lions and Minnesota Vikings became the most-watched NFL game in U.S. history, averaging 27.5 million viewers in the U.S., with peak U.S. viewership exceeding 30 million viewers, according to Nielsen Big Data+ Panel. Cowboys-Commanders games averaged 19.9 million U.S. viewers. Netflix has now distributed the three most-streamed NFL games in U.S. history, the company said. Snoop Dogg’s holiday halftime party at the Lions-Vikings game drew an average of 29 million viewers in the U.S., according to Nielsen Big Data + Panel. Viewers from more than 200 countries and regions tuned in to watch at least one of the games, with the Cowboys Commandos earning 22.4 million global AMAs and the Lions and Vikings earning 30.5 million global AMAs. This year, NFL Christmas Game Day attracted more than 632 million global social impressions, while Snoopy’s Holiday Halftime Party attracted more than 100 million impressions on Christmas Day. Additionally, the Lions vs. Vikings are the most socially-watched sports events on Christmas Day.
