Jill’s thoughts…
Wisconsin has been an improved team over the past few years, and road wins make it difficult to get into the Big Ten. Nebraska also doesn’t play the same level of defense we’ve seen over the past few years, but they know they need to score to make up for it. I haven’t seen any signs that Wisconsin’s defense is good enough to hold the Huskers within the range needed to pull off an upset by the Badgers, but I do think the game will stay close for longer than Husker fans would like.

Jarrick’s thoughts before kickoff:
Washington is one of the weirder teams in the Big Ten. They looked good at times (see USC’s win), but not so good later (see Seattle’s loss). They played most of the conference games, but the final score showed a little different. Nebraska is the favorite by basketball standards, but sleeping on Washington would be a huge mistake.

The Shellers have one job, as always: to protect the vault. The PBA has been a huge fortress for Nebraska in recent years, and so far this year is no exception. The nation’s longest winning streak, one of only 3 undefeated teams in all of Division I college basketball, and one of 2 strong undefeated teams. If Nebraska wants to make the NCAA Tournament as a high seed, win at home.
I feel like this is going to be another simple game. Nebraska might find itself in a relatively tight battle in the first half, but will find a way to get open and feel comfortable enough in the second half. Limit Washington’s rebounding ability and Nebraska will be fine. Score prediction: Nebraska 85, Washington 68
