Jake Ferguson injury update for Cowboys in Week 15

The Dallas Cowboys remain in contention for the NFC playoffs, but they don’t have much room for error. Dallas basically has to win and hopefully get some help to make the playoffs. However, they also have to stay healthy, which unfortunately isn’t always guaranteed in a game as dangerous as professional football.

The status of Cowboys starting tight end Jake Ferguson is a perfect example. Ferguson is currently nursing a calf injury and is officially listed as unavailable for Sunday night’s home game against the Minnesota Vikings in Dallas. However, Ferguson’s appointment appears to have prompted caution among the team’s training staff more than anything else, as he is expected to play as usual.

This is good news for the Cowboys, to say the least:

Ferguson has been a go-to guy for Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott this season. Hopefully he looks healthy and has a big performance for Dallas on Sunday night.
