MUMBAI, India (AP) — Captain Harry Brooke made the right call in the coin toss as England opted to face India first in the Twenty20 World Cup semifinals on Thursday.
There are no changes to India’s side from Sunday’s win over West Indies. England made one change, bringing back pacer Jamie Overton for spinner Rehan Ahmed.

The pitch at the iconic Wankhede Stadium should help the batsmen with a high-scoring game on the horizon. Evening dew should help the chasing side.
The winner will face New Zealand in the final in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
England and India play their third consecutive T20 World Cup semi-final.
England won their second title in 2022, beating India by 10 wickets in Sydney. India then defeated England by 68 runs in the semi-finals at Georgetown in 2024 and won the title for the second time.
Defending champions India’s only defeat so far in this World Cup came against South Africa.
England have also lost to the West Indies only once in the first round, also in Mumbai.
