Death Stranding 2: On the Beach PC Port Leaks, Gets ESRB Rating

Death Stranding 2: The Beach will be released exclusively on PS5 in June. Sony’s first-party exclusives usually take at least a year to be ported to PC, but it seems like Kojima Productions’ action-adventure delivery will be coming to PC sooner than later. The PC version of Death Stranding 2 has been rated on the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) website.

Death Stranding 2 PC port gets ESRB rating

The game is rated “M” (Mature) on the ESRB website. The listing is for the PC version of Death Stranding 2, but has yet to be confirmed by developer Kojima Productions and publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment. A separately rated PS5 version of DS 2 already exists on the ESRB website.

Ahead of the official announcement, the listing appears to have leaked a PC port of the critically acclaimed action-adventure game. ESRB ratings indicate that Death Stranding 2 may be coming to PC in 2026, one year after the launch of PS5.

This will also coincide with Death Stranding’s PC release schedule. The first game launched exclusively on PS4 in November 2019. Less than a year later, it launched on PC in July 2020. The PS5 native version “Director’s Cut” will be released in 2021. Death Stranding was ported to Apple devices and Xbox Series S/X last year.

It’s worth noting that 505 Games ran the first game on PC.

Death Stranding 2: Beach is a leading contender for the 2025 Game Awards, with seven nominations. The Death Stranding sequel is also in the running for Game of the Year. In addition, DS 2 also won awards for Best Game Direction, Best Narrative, and Best Score and Music.
