What a Saturday! So cool, we had to split them into separate podcasts and make them available to you together! In Episode 777, we discuss the Duke football team’s first ACC football championship since 1989 over Virginia. Then in Episode 778, we recap the Duke men’s basketball team’s win over Michigan State at the Breslin Center!
Scott Rich stars in both episodes along with Donald and Jason, making the whole series a lot of fun. First came football, where Duke defied all odds and all cynicism to avenge a November loss to the Virginia Cavaliers and beat them in overtime to win Duke’s first ACC football championship since 1989 and first overall title since 1962. It was an amazing effort to win the championship, some great decisions in the game, and we love everything this team put in to become ACC champions. They may not have made the playoffs, but they can’t take away that feeling!

Next, you’ll switch to another episode and recap Duke’s basketball win over Michigan State at the hostile Breslin Center. It’s a tough game, but Duke is 10-0 this season and has perhaps the best resume and best players in all of college basketball. We talk about everything that’s good about the game and what it needs to improve, and of course we talk about how it’s played and who’s the best player of the week. This is a special day to be a Blue Devil!
