Julian Alvarez continues to be linked with a move to Barcelona and said “maybe yes, maybe not” when asked this week if he could move this summer, fueling speculation that Atletico Madrid could exit.
MD reports that those words were echoed at Barcelona ahead of the summer transfer window.
Laporta, who was also asked about Alvarez this week, said the Argentinian needed to “show his willingness” first and that the price had to be right for a deal to be agreed.
Atletico continue to insist Alvarez is not for sale this summer, but that has done little to quell rumors he could leave at the end of the season.
