Xiaomi Officially Starts Selling Production-Ready SU7 Ultra: Price, Features

On March 2, Xiaomi announced during the 2025 World Mobile Communications Conference (MWC) in Barcelona that Xiaomi SU7 Ultra has officially begun sales. The car, which debuted in July, is the company’s latest electric vehicle prototype (EV) and is a purely performance-focused version of the SU7 EV sold in the country since last year. According to the company, Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is equipped with three motors and can do 0-100 kilometers per hour (kmph) in just 1.98 seconds.

Xiaomi SU7 Extreme Commemorative Edition Specifications

The mass-produced Xiaomi SU7 Extreme Commemorative Edition has the same motor configuration, chassis structure, battery pack and other components as the prototype shown last year. It’s powered by a proprietary triple HyperEngine motor with two V8 motors and one V6 motor, one at the rear and one at the front. It is said that the Xiaomi SU7 Ultra can enter the track directly from the factory. According to Xiaomi, it is equipped with dual-chamber air springs paired with high-performance adaptive dampers, allowing drivers to choose from a wider range of spring rates and damping adjustments. In addition, it also has a Peak chassis system tuned on the Nürburgring Nordschleife. The three-motor configuration features torque vectoring, with torque independently distributed and adjusted 500 times per second.

The company says its maximum acceleration time from 0-100 km/h is 1.98 seconds, and acceleration from standstill to 200 km/h is 5.86 seconds. It is said to have a top speed of 350 km/h. In order to ensure the safety of high-speed driving, Xiaomi high-performance electric vehicles are equipped with carbon ceramic brake discs, Akebono high-performance fixed calipers, and high-performance brake pads. The company claims a braking distance of just 30.8m from 100-0km/h. The vehicle features multiple driving modes suitable for daily and track use. For everyday driving, options include Beginner Mode, Eco Mode, Wet Mode, Sport Mode and Custom Mode. Meanwhile, on the track, endurance mode, qualifying mode and drift mode can be selected to maximize performance.

The Racetrack Master app complements these features. Xiaomi said it can display real-time lap times, vehicle status, driving mode adjustments and other vehicle information for track users. After the race, drivers can get an overview of historical lap statistics and visually analyze the results through parameters such as maximum G-force, steering wheel angle and braking force. They can also export recorded videos through the app.

Powering the Xiaomi SU7 Extreme Commemorative Edition is CATL’s Kirin 2.0 battery pack, which is integrated directly into the electric vehicle’s body using CTB (battery-to-body) technology to achieve higher volumetric efficiency. The battery capacity is 150kWh and the maximum discharge power is 1,330kW. With only 20% of the battery remaining, it can still output up to 800 kW of power. Combined with a 5.2C charge multiplier, it can be fully charged in 12 minutes. Overall, the EV is said to have a maximum CLTC range of 630 kilometers.

To improve heat dissipation, the battery pack features dual large surfaces for active cooling. Additionally, it has a ballistic coating on the bottom that is more resistant to tears, scratches and punctures than traditional PVC coatings. For safety reasons, the Xiaomi SU7 Extreme Commemorative Edition is equipped with Misacceleration Inhibition (MAI) and Low-speed Automatic Emergency Braking (LAEB), two features that help curb acceleration when a risk of collision is detected.

Although the exterior design is the same as the Xiaomi SU7 Max, the new EV adds aerodynamic kit and a larger body size. Its dimensions are 5115mm x 1970mm x 1465mm, and the wheelbase is 3000mm. It features an oversized splitter, air dam and “U-shaped” air curtains that help increase downforce at the front of the vehicle.

The EV’s in-cabin experience includes upgraded sports seats with active side bolstering, faster response times and a larger support area. The steering wheel has also been revamped, with a flat top and bottom designed specifically for racing, and is covered in Alcantara microfiber fabric. Customers can choose from bold and vibrant bright yellow (yellow/black), stylish black/yellow or black/red interior. The front seats have ventilation, massage functions and graphene heating for both rows. According to Xiaomi, the SU7 Ultra is equipped with an electric hood that can be opened through Xiaoai voice commands and physical buttons.

Other features include dual 50W wireless phone charging, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, blind spot detection lights, and a front vanity mirror with three-level adjustable color temperature and brightness. Xiaomi says it has integrated a “people x car x home” ecosystem, with all models powered by the Snapdragon 8295 chip platform. It is said to be compatible with the company’s HyperOS for allocation of hardware resources.
