Howard University is no stranger to the NCAA men’s basketball tournament in recent years. As of 2026, the Howard Bisons are making their third trip to the tournament in four years after claiming the Mideast Athletic Conference title this spring.
Not only that, but Howard won their first tournament game on Tuesday, defeating No. 16 UMBC in the Final Four!
