🏀Women’s Basketball – Division I
Mariel Nassif, Moses Brown Women’s Basketball
Moses Brown 51, Classical 37
Mariel Nassif The third quarter provided some offensive firepower and gave the Quakers the necessary spacing to outlast the Purple Team 51-37.

The defense was intense in the first quarter, with Moses Brown leading 9-4 and leading 24-15 at halftime with Nassif’s 9 points and 6 points. Lauren Bousquet in the second quarter.
With classical music still around, the Quakers stepped up their defenses. They limited the Purple Team to just five points in the third quarter, while Nassif scored eight points in the final seconds to take a 42-20 lead into the fourth quarter.
Nassif was Moses Brown’s top scorer with 23 points. Busquet followed with 21 points. Adelaide Crosby and Madison Wilson accounted for the remaining seven points.
Jedel Harris Scored 12 points and became the top scorer in the Classic. Daniela Jimenez Lost seven games.

Cranston West 74, South Kingstown 36
Cranston West’s offense felt good Tuesday night.
The Falcons hit seven 3-pointers in the first quarter against the Rebels. In a Division I game, Cranston West defeated South Kingston 74-36 on the road, scoring 28 points on early shooting.
Cranston West hit 13 3-pointers in game Thalia Walker (19 points) 5 points from long range. Kayla Bucco (18 points) followed with four scores from beyond the arc. Walker and Bucco each made three three-pointers in the opening game.
sarnia chase Scored more than ten points Madeleine Marks Victory adds 11 points. This was the Falcons’ best offensive game of the season, and the Falcons have yet to score more than 60 points this season. Could Tuesday’s victory spark a run for Cranston West?

Chariho 53, San Rafael 49
The score was close all night, but Charrijo had a great game against San Rafael in the Division I game.
The Chargers led by just six points at halftime, which was enough to keep the Saints from falling behind Tessa Aiello’s 16 points. With scoring contributions from six different players, the Chargers used a balanced offense to earn their fourth win of the year.
Menouki Harris As the young player was difficult to defend, he scored a dozen points and had 10 fouls in the game. The Chargers scored six of their decisive 14 points in the fourth quarter to help them stay ahead.

Adriana Noka Contributed eight points to the win. Tuesday was a key win at home for the Chargers, who will travel to Westerly for a rivalry game on Thursday night. Charriho will likely face off against the Bulldogs, who look to be one of the best teams in the state to start the year.
SRA leads by 16 points Caroline Abreu. The Saints host West Warwick on Thursday.
Genesis Castro, Barrington women’s basketball
Barrington 51, Portsmouth 43
Genesis Castro Scored a team-high 18 points, including 4 shots from beyond the three-point line. Ella Martin and Faith Van Ness Barrington scored 13 and 11 points in the Eagles’ victory, and Barrington is now 10-1 and in second place in Division I behind Westerly.

For the losing Patriots, Anne Hurd Scored 16 points with 2 three-pointers violet sylvia Scored 11 points and 3 three-pointers, and Giselle Myers Finally scored 10 points and 2 three-pointers. Portsmouth is 5-2 this season.
North Kingstown 40, LaSalle 19
The Skippers made quick work of the Rams in Division I play, taking a 24-3 advantage and earning the win with a solid defense. Brooke Fox Scored a game-high 16 points, mia Marchionne North Kingstown defeated LaSalle (2-8) for the second time this season to improve to 6-3 and add eight more games.
For the Rams, maya Fernandez La Salle leads the team with six points heading into a game against Portsmouth later this week.
Macy Antoch, Westerly women’s basketball
Westerly 65, Pawtucket Co-op 23
Westerly continues to prove it is one of the best programs in the state.

The Bulldogs easily defeated Pawtucket 65-23 at home on Tuesday night. Westley had 24 assists on 27 shots on goal Messi AntokLeads the group with 14 points. The freshman also excelled at the Division I level, adding four rebounds and four steals.
Danica Jarrett Scored 13 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals, just behind his teammates. Seth Saint Westley scored in double figures with 10 points. But the outstanding performers don’t stop there. Santana Hamelin was outstanding on the court, contributing 7 assists and 7 steals.
The young and talented Bulldogs are 9-1 overall on the year and will face Charriho on Thursday.
East Providence 57, West Warwick 43
East Providence girls basketball bounced back in a big way Tuesday night.

Division II defeated Division I West Warwick 57-43, scoring a season-high 57 points. The win comes on the heels of EP’s loss to Rodgers last Friday.
Zara Hall East Providence scored 14 points in the first half and scored 24 points in the game to defeat the Wizards. The junior took 10 shots, including a 3-pointer, to help EP win its fifth of the season.
Trinity Provencher The team scored more than a dozen points, including eight in the fourth quarter, to defeat the home team. Audrey Bernard With EP’s offense firing on all cylinders, they scored another dozen points. East Providence travels to Tiverton on Friday.
west warwick leader Brea Lima18 points and Alexa Foley14. The Wizards face San Rafael on Thursday in Pawtucket.

🏀Women’s Basketball – Division II
Zaida Aponte (22), Rogers girls basketball
Rogers 51, Narragansett 35
Vikings believed in the old adage: You only get one chance to make a first impression. So scoring 17 points in the first quarter and then 18 in the second quarter was enough to predict the outcome of this Division II game.
Rodgers started out enthusiastic and stayed that way. Their pace is set by the dynamic duo Zaida Aponte – 21 points, including four 3-pointers – and for card Robertson – 14 points in the first half. At halftime, the team led 35-17, and the game became easier in the second half.
For the Mariners, Taylor Sullivan and Delaney bono The two scored 11 points each, with Sullivan hitting two three-pointers and Bono shooting 4-for-6 from the free throw line.

Rodgers has improved to 4-2 and will face a tough test later this week against No. 1 Coventry (8-1).
🏀Women’s Basketball – Division III
Central 48, Woonsocket 31
newborn Evita Santana She had a memorable night as she scored 26 points, six from beyond the arc, grabbed eight rebounds, had five steals and four assists to lead the Cavaliers to a victory over Villanova. Winning factors also include Keanna Palmer Scored 8 points, 5 rebounds, 3 steals and 4 assists. Central improves to 7-1 this season.
Skylar Caro Woonsocket led the scorers with 11 points, teammates Akira Moïse The loss was another 8 points.
