Jaguar has released a teaser trailer for its upcoming electric vehicle (EV) concept car, the Design Vision Concept. The new trailer hints at a new design language for the car, which will debut at Miami Art Week on December 2. According to the company’s recent teaser, the car marks a departure from traditional design and does not include a rear window. Instead, the camera system will provide rearward visibility via a digital interior rearview mirror.

Instead, the photos show a new design that looks a bit like an air-cooled panel. Additionally, another teaser image shows that the company may add a digital mirror. The image shows off what appears to be a camera behind a flip panel bearing the company’s new logo. The new concept showcases a bold aesthetic of generous proportions, smooth curves and sharp lines.

The car is reportedly expected to be a preview of the four-door electric Grand Tourer and will be one of three new electric models planned for launch in 2026. The production version is expected to produce more than 575 horsepower and have a driving range of more than 430 miles. The starting price is expected to be over £100,000.
The decision to remove the rear window has drawn comparisons to the Polestar 4, a model launched earlier this year without a traditional rear glass. Polestar cited increased headroom for rear passengers as its rationale, while Jaguar’s approach appears to focus on aesthetics and functional modernization, according to sources. Critics argue that removing the rear window would introduce unnecessary complexity and potential safety hazards.
