U.S. Executive Dies In Golf Cart Accident At California Country Club

A US golf cart executive has died in a “horrendous” golf cart accident. He is only 58 years old.

The deceased has been identified as James “Jim” Burns. He served as chief financial officer of Saracens Casino Resort.

According to reports, while he was riding in a golf cart, the golf cart flipped over on top of him. Further details are sparse.

“Details are scarce so far. What we do know is that Burns, 58, was taken to Jefferson Regional Hospital for treatment, where he was pronounced dead,” ABC 7 reported.

“It was reported that on Thursday, January 8, Burns was riding in a golf cart at the country club when the golf cart rolled over him.

“He passed away Friday morning.”
