Notre Dame football’s transfer portal continues to gain traction, with two more potential players on Tuesday adding future visits elsewhere.
Wake Forest defensive tackle Mateen Ibirogba looks to be a great player for the Irish and is headed to South Bend. Unfortunately for Notre Dame, Texas Tech jumped first and secured a commitment from top defensive lineman Hayes Fawcett, according to the On3 portal.

Later that day, Tulsa tight end Brody Foley had a verbal message for Louisville, according to Fawcett. He tallied 540 yards and nine touchdowns on just 37 catches last fall and is a perfect fit for the Irish offense.
Notre Dame is still looking for its first transfer commitment as they missed out on a number of early targets. The good news is that more and more players are continuing to play, and the long run could work in the Irish’s favor.
