It’s hard to wish her a happy new year, but to this despicable and disgusting governor. The ‘Republican’ (Green!) District Attorney did this to stop her (Nothing happened to the Democrats and their fake mail-in ballot system that made it impossible for the Republicans to win an otherwise very easy state!), and I wish them nothing but the worst. May they rot in hell. Free Tina Peters! “
Peters, the former Mesa County clerk in Colorado, was sentenced to nine years in prison on seven state charges of election interference in 2020. Peters used her public status to provide assistance to an associate of MyPillow CEO and Minnesota gubernatorial candidate Mike Lindell Access Mesa County Elections Software. The charges against her include three counts of “attempting to influence a public servant” and one count of criminal impersonation.
Earlier this month, Trump claimed to have pardoned Peters in another Truth Society post, which read:
For years, Democrats have ignored violent and vicious crime in all shapes, sizes, colors and types. Violent criminals who should be locked up are allowed to strike again. Democrats are also more than happy to let in the worst people from the worst countries so they can rip off American taxpayers. Democrats believe there is only one crime – not voting for them! Instead of protecting Americans and their tax dollars, Democrats have chosen to prosecute anyone they can find who wants a safe and secure election. Democrats have been relentless in targeting TINA PETERS, a patriot who just wants to make sure our elections are fair and honest. Tina is being held in a Colorado prison for the “crime” of demanding an honest election. Today, I am granting Tina a full pardon for her attempt to expose voter fraud in the 2020 Presidential election!
Peters cannot be pardoned by the president for state-level crimes.
