Trump Is Too Scared to Go to the Super Bowl After His Aides’ Humiliating Warning

Donald Trump will not attend the Super Bowl after being warned he could be booed violently by stadium crowds, according to reports.

The thin-skinned president has previously offered an unlikely excuse for not attending Sunday’s NFL championship game between the Seattle Seahawks and New England Patriots in Santa Clara, California, because the game is “too far away” and he doesn’t like scheduled performers Bad Bunny and Green Day.

However, several Trump advisers have now told Zeteo that the 79-year-old Trump is being urged not to enter races in deep blue Democratic states because he might receive a less than friendly reception.

A video of Trump loudly booing in front of tens of thousands of spectators (and possibly more than 100 million domestic viewers) going viral would be “another thing we don’t want right now,” a Trump adviser told Zeteo.

Trump was booed and cheered when he attended last year’s Super Bowl between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles.

But his approval ratings have plummeted across the board since then, with the president losing support over his handling of the economy and hard-line immigration policies, particularly after the killings of two U.S. citizens by federal agents in Minneapolis.

Trump’s poor polling numbers, coupled with the fact that the Super Bowl is being held in a state that has overwhelmingly rejected him in the past three presidential elections, led one aide to conclude that it was “best to stay away from this one.”

“any [the crowd’s makeup] Ultimately, this is not going to be an American turning point speech,” the aide said.

Trump told the New York Post last month that he would skip this year’s Super Bowl because he was unhappy with Puerto Rican singer Bad Bunny’s halftime performance. Veteran punk rock band Green Day, also an outspoken critic of the president, is performing at the opening ceremony of the Super Bowl.

“I’m against them. I think it’s a terrible choice. All it does is spread hatred. It’s terrible,” Trump said.

Turning Point USA has announced that MAGA country singer Kid Rock will headline its “All American Halftime Show,” which will coincide with the official halftime performance of Latin superstar Bad Bunny, who sings primarily in Spanish.

Trump also gave a dubious explanation for his reluctance to travel to California because it was “too far,” even though he frequently flies around the world and attended last year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans.

He told the New York Post that if he dared to go, he would be welcomed by the crowds. “They like me,” he said.

White House spokesman Davis Ingle insisted that Trump would receive a warm welcome if he attended Super Bowl X in person.

“President Trump is working hard for the American people,” Ingler told Zetteo. “If he does go to the Super Bowl, he will be welcomed with open arms because America knows he has done more to help this country than any other president in history.”
