Trae Young isn’t ready to play for the Washington Wizards, but that didn’t stop him from being ejected on Monday night.
Young was ejected from the Wizards’ game against the Houston Rockets on Monday after running on the court and complaining to the referees. Young did not play in the game and is actually set to make his debut later this week after being traded to the team last month.

The incident occurred after Tari Eason pushed Jameer Watkins to the ground as the Rockets took the ball up the court in the third quarter at Capital One Arena. The push seemed to come out of nowhere, causing a flurry of confusion on the floor.
Players and coaches quickly pulled the two players apart without incident. But Young came off the bench in street clothes and began complaining to the referee at the baseline. This resulted in his automatic expulsion.
Ethan was also charged two technical fouls and ejected. Watkins and Sharif Cooper each received a technical foul for their reactions.

Young has not played in a league game since Dec. 27 due to knee and quadriceps injuries. He only played 10 games throughout the year, averaging 19.3 points and 8.9 assists per game. The Wizards acquired Young in January in a trade with the Atlanta Hawks for C.J. McCollum and Corey Kispert. Young will make his NBA debut on Thursday when the Wizards take on the Utah Jazz.
