While the one-year anniversary of WWE Raw on Netflix may be approaching on January 5, WWE capped off 2025 with Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso replacing AJ Styles and Dragon Lee as World Tag Team Champions last Monday. Speaking about the match and the Usos’ win, current TNA Wrestling star Tommy Dreamer shared his thoughts on WWE’s partnership with Netflix over the past year on the latest episode of Busted Open: After Dark.
“Monday Night Raw, they moved to Netflix. We’ve been doing it for a year,” Dreamer said. “I feel like it was a success. I loved Monday Night Raw. I also hosted most of After Darks here. I’d probably say about 85-90% of After Darks, and I didn’t feel the need to tear the product down or [be] It’s like “Oh, this is terrible!” I feel like they bring great wrestling entertainment every Monday night on Raw. It’s a win for Netflix, a win for wrestling fans, and tonight was no different. “

As of this writing, the three title fights will begin on January 5th. CM Punk will challenge The Vision’s Bron Breakker for the World Heavyweight Championship, while Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY will challenge the Kabuki Warriors for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, and Maxxine Dupri will defend the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against former titleholder Becky Lynch.
