Asheville will become the epicenter of mid-level action as the 2026 Ingalls Southern Conference (SoCon) men’s basketball tournament returns to Harrah’s Cherokee Center.

Top-seeded East Tennessee State is eyeing its first tournament title in six years, and with the field packed and the top six teams separated by just a few games, the path to the big dance is wide open.
Ten teams will compete for the automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, with high stakes and loud buildings.

Where to watch the Southern Conference men’s basketball championship game

The first two rounds of the SoCon men’s basketball tournament can be streamed live on ESPN+, with select games also broadcast on Nexstar affiliates and South Carolina ETV. The semifinals will be broadcast nationally on ESPNU (or ESPN2), while the championship game will be broadcast live on ESPN.
