Shubman Gill joins Gujarat Titans camp ahead of IPL 2026

Captain Shubman Gill has been linked with Gujarat Titans in preparation for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 season.

Gujarat Titans will begin their campaign against Kings XI Punjab away at Mullanpur on March 31. The Gill-led team will then return to Ahmedabad to take on Rajasthan Royals at the Narendra Modi Stadium on April 4. The team’s early schedule also includes away games against Delhi Capitals on April 8 and Lucknow Super Giants on April 12.

The Gujarat Titans have become one of the most consistent teams in the league, making the playoffs in three of the first four seasons and winning the championship in their inaugural season in 2022. They will once again rely on Gill’s leadership in their quest for a second trophy.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for the first phase of IPL 2026, which will be played at 10 venues from March 28 to April 12. The season will kick off with defending champions Royal Challengers Bangalore hosting Sunrisers Hyderabad in Bengaluru.

The Gujarat Titans had a strong record in 2025 with 9 wins, 4 losses and 1 scoreless match and will continue the momentum this season.
