Stoke City manager Mark Robins admitted his side struggled in Saturday’s 3-1 home win over Watford.
Potters winger Miriam Manhoof scored twice to give the home side a 2-0 lead, but it was halved by Wasps’ Nestory Irankunda in the final 10 minutes.

However, Sam Gallagher eased fears of Watford’s comeback when he curled the ball into the far corner in the 85th minute to seal three points for Stoke City.
“I thought it was a tough game to be honest,” Robins told BBC Radio Stoke after the game.
“It’s a transition game, isn’t it? Because that’s how they play. Statistically, they’re the best in the division and you can see why.
“You pass the ball out, you push your body forward and they leave people in front. If you don’t get quality, contact or goals then they become a threat on the counterattack.

“So we found it really difficult to deal with and gave up some chances early in the game.
“But when we play well, keep the ball well and are clinical, we create our chances.”
