Rams, Seahawks OCs both favorites for 2 head coaching jobs

The NFC West will compete in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday. The Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks compete for a spot in Super Bowl X. However, both teams are considering the possibility of losing their offensive coordinator.

Both the Rams and Seahawks OCs are leading candidates to be the other team’s head coach.

Rams offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur is considered the front-runner among the three leading candidates to be the new Arizona Cardinals head coach.

Seahawks offensive coordinator Clint Kubiak is also expected to get the head coaching job. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Kubiak is the “primary candidate” to succeed Pete Carroll as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders.

No matter who loses between the Seahawks and Rams, the offensive coordinator will likely be hired next week. Whoever wins and plays in the Super Bowl cannot be hired until after the Super Bowl but can be interviewed the following week.

We’ll see what happens in the coming week.
