The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly trading for Max Crosby, but not the New England Patriots.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Raiders will send Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens. They will receive the No. 14 pick in this year’s draft and Baltimore’s 2027 first-round pick.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport said Raiders general manager John Spytek has called Crosby to inform him of the deal, which will be finalized next Wednesday when the league’s new calendar year begins.

Crosby has been selected to the Pro Bowl each of the past five seasons. He had 10 sacks in 15 games, but the Raiders sidelined him with a knee injury over the final two weeks and ended up with the No. 1 overall pick.

There were rumors that Crosby wanted to play elsewhere after seven seasons with the Raiders. The former fourth-round pick has reportedly said he wants to play for Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel.

New England is reportedly one of several teams monitoring Crosby’s situation. NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero said earlier Friday that the Raiders have received “multiple strong offers” for Crosby, amid speculation that Las Vegas could trade him before teams begin contacting free agents on Monday.

Crosby will reportedly transfer to the Ravens, who ranked 24th in total defense last season, marking the third time since 2003 that they ranked lower than 12th. Only two teams (the Jets and 49ers) have fewer sacks than Baltimore’s 30, a significant drop from their league-leading 60 in 2023 and 54 in 2024.

Travis Jones only led the Ravens with five sacks last season, but the AFC North team has one of the most ferocious pass-catchers in the game. Crosby is looking to lead Baltimore back to the playoffs after losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 18 for the division title.
