Purported Epstein Letter To Larry Nassar Says ‘Our President’ Loved ‘Young, Nubile Girls’

The Justice Department on Tuesday released thousands of additional documents about Jeffrey Epstein, including a letter he allegedly wrote from prison to fellow predator Larry Nassar that appeared to suggest President Donald Trump shared their “love” for young girls.

The letter was postmarked on August 13, 2019, Trump’s first term, and was returned to the sender.

“Dear LN, as you know by now, I have taken the ‘shortcut’ home,” Epstein wrote. “Good luck! We share one thing…our love and care for young ladies and wanting them to reach their full potential. Our president also shares our love for young, marriageable girls.”

He continued, “Young beauties love to ‘grab things’ when they walk by, but we are grabbing food in the system cafeteria. Life is unfair.”

Nassar pleaded guilty in 2017 to possessing children and sexually abusing young women and girls in his role as a doctor for the U.S. women’s national gymnastics team.

Epstein was found dead in his cell on August 10, 2019, while awaiting trial on federal drug trafficking charges. His death was ruled a suicide, and known connections to powerful people fueled theories of a “client list” that Attorney General Pam Bondi vowed to release in February.

His letter was part of a new batch of documents released overnight after the Justice Department failed to meet a Friday deadline to release Epstein’s full set of documents. The Justice Department claimed that some of the new documents “contain untrue and sensational claims about Trump.”

The letter was postmarked three days after Epstein was found dead. The newly released documents include chain-of-custody logs showing the letter was discovered on September 25, 2019, as well as an FBI laboratory inspection request for handwriting analysis.

While the letter itself was never published, The Associated Press reported its existence in June 2023, quoting the investigator who discovered the letter who told a prison official via email at the time, “It appears he sent the letter and it was returned to him.”
