The PS Plus monthly game lineup for December 2025, including “Lego Horizon Adventures”, “Killing Floor 3”, “Neon White”, “The Outlast Trials” and “Synduality Echo of Ada”, will be released on January 5. The following is a detailed introduction to PS Plus Essential games in January:
Need for Speed: Infinite
“NFS Unbound” was added to the PS Plus game catalog in February 2024 and was not launched until last year. The racing game is now part of PS Plus’ monthly game lineup for January. “NFS Unbound” will be released in 2022 and is the 25th entry in the “Need for Speed” series. The game brings a new art style to the series, blending cell-shaded graphics and colorful graffiti artwork with realistic visuals of cars and environments.
Unbound is an open-world racing game set in a fictional lakeside city inspired by Chicago. The game features a ton of open-world races and challenges, as well as plenty of street races to take part in. As expected from the series, NFS Unbound also allows for a wealth of car customization options. The game will be available on PS5 to PS Plus members.
Disney Epic Mickey: Remastered
Disney’s Epic Mickey: Remastered is a remake of Epic Mickey, originally released in 2010 on the Nintendo Wii. The remaster will be released in 2024 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X and Nintendo Switch.
This platform game puts players in Mickey Mouse’s iconic yellow shoes and embarks on an adventure in the wasteland. Equipped with a magical paintbrush that he can use to paint or erase things in the world, Mickey must save the wasteland after he accidentally causes damage to it. PS Plus members can play the platformer on PS4 and PS5.

core guardian
Core Keeper is a survival sandbox game where players explore procedurally generated mining caves. The game is played from a top-down approach, with players digging through the terrain to discover new worlds, collect resources, and fight new enemies. As you dig further and discover new areas, you’ll discover tougher challenges and new gameplay features. The focus is on crafting, which allows players to upgrade their equipment and structures. You can also improve your abilities by investing points in the skill tree.
In addition to crafting, Core Keeper also features a range of survival game systems such as farming, fishing, and mining. The game can be played solo or in cooperative multiplayer with up to eight players. Core Guardians will be available on PS4 and PS5.
