Packers OT Rasheed Walker arrested on gun charge at LaGuardia Airport

Walker’s attorney, Arthur Aidala, said the gun was licensed in Wisconsin and his client didn’t know he couldn’t travel with it from New York.

“It was in a locked box and he presented it to people at airport,” Aidala told new york post. “He told a Delta agent that he was traveling with a firearm. He mistakenly believed that because he owned a licensed firearm and it was in a locked case, he could travel with the firearm. We are confident this case will be dismissed.”

Walker appeared in court and was released on his own recognizance.

Walker has started every game for the Packers in the 2024 season and has started 52 regular season and playoff games over the past three seasons.
