Pickering went 10-for-12 with three homers, 11 RBIs, 13 runs and six walks. Against the Miners, she had a triple-double in a 34-0 victory, tying the school’s single-game doubles record. Minor was almost as good, going 9-for-13 with two homers, nine RBIs, seven runs, three doubles and a triple. She scored at least one point in each of five games.

All told, the Sooners hit 38 homers, 124 RBI and 125 home runs in nine games while batting .462. Their only loss came in the second game of the season against Arizona State, and Oklahoma State still ended up winning that series. Patty Gasso’s team also remains at No. 4 in the USA Softball Poll released Monday.

Oklahoma State hits the road again this week, traveling to California for the Mary Nutter College Classic. OU will face Cal State-Fullerton, San Diego State, Long Beach State, Cal State-Berkeley, Duke and Washington State.
