Ever since Ohio State basketball introduced the Buckeyes jersey graphics a few years ago, fans have been begging for another one. The team wore a scarlet version with white lettering and a white version with red lettering, but one look was missing…a gray scripted version with red lettering. Starting today, fans no longer have to wait.
The Buckeyes will debut all-grey uniforms with scarlet lettering, according to Ohio State men’s basketball social media posts. They are just as beautiful as we imagined. Scarlet letters and numbers are outlined in white against a soft gray background. The team will be wearing their latest alternate uniforms, along with some new sneakers courtesy of LeBron James, when they take on Virginia in a basketball showdown in Nashville on Saturday night.
If Ohio State wins in the Baby Game, fans will be clamoring to keep them in the rotation. Hopefully the team will be able to perform at the level required by these uniforms.
