The NFL has released its second batch of Pro Bowl ballots for the 2025 season, which includes 17 Green Bay Packers who finished in the top 10 at their respective positions, up from 15 last week. As a reminder, Pro Bowl voting opens next week. If you want to vote, you can do so here. Fan voting accounts for one-third of the Pro Bowl selection process, along with player voting and coaches voting.

Let’s take a look at how the Packers’ numbers compare to last week.

move up

  • C Sean Ryan: 4th (last week: 5th)

  • P Daniel Whelan: 4th (LW: 6th)

  • T Zach Tom: 6th (LW: 7th)

  • QB Jordan Love: 7th (left hand: 8th)

  • CB Keeson Nixon: 7th (LW: 10th)

  • Overtime Rasheed Walker: 8th (left: 10th)

  • ILB Edgerrin Cooper: 8th (LW: 10th)

  • G Aaron Banks: 8th (LW: N/A)

  • WR Romeo Doubs: 9th (LH: N/A)

The new players to solve this problem are receiver Romeo Dubs and linebacker Aaron Banks. I don’t think either of them will receive Pro Bowl honors this year, but credit to Packers fans for supporting their players. At receiver, the only players currently ahead of Dukes in the vote count are Jaxon Smith-Njiba, George Pickens, Puka Nakua, Jermall Chase, Amon-Ra St. Brown, Tetheroa McMillan, Emeka Egbuka and Derek London. Yes, Doubs is ahead of CeeDee Lamb in the count.

In most cases, players who move up the rankings perform better down the stretch (even Banks, who is off to a poor start to the 2025 season). I’m surprised, though, that Sean Ryan ranks so high at center, even though he was only recently moved to that position after playing right guard before Elgton Jenkins went down with a season-ending injury.

  • DT Devonte Wyatt: 10th (LH: 8th)

Many of the players who sunk for the Packers also make sense. Matt Olzek was called for a penalty this week, but he hasn’t been great all season. Savion Williams and Devonte Wyatt both missed this week’s game, with Williams out for several weeks and Wyatt being placed on injured reserve.

I think it’s good that safety Evan Williams gets recognition for his special teams play, but he’s not even the Packers’ most impactful non-pro or non-returning player in the kicking game. To me, Aaron Mosby, Zahn Anderson, Beau Melton, and Nick Niemann (all now on injured reserve) are more important on special teams.

stay stable

Micah Parsons remains a top defender among the NFL’s Pro Bowl players. He’s beating out Myles Garrett, who will likely break the single-season sack record this year. In any other year, Parsons might have been the front-runner for the NFL’s Defensive Player of the Year award, but it’s hard to prove that when Garrett is on a historic run. Parsons might have had a memorable second place finish in that race.
