NASCAR is officially back. The Cup Series returns for another year in 2026 with the Cook Out Clash this weekend at Bowman Gray Stadium.

Historically, the annual race was held in Daytona or Los Angeles, but it was moved to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, last year. While Bowman Gray is a beloved venue, this weekend’s schedule was disrupted by inclement weather in the Carolinas.
The Clash race is shorter than most – only 200 laps and 50.6 miles. In last year’s first race at Bowman Gray Stadium, Chase Elliott took the checkered flag over Ryan Blaney.

Bowman Gray’s NASCAR Clash Start Time
The main event of the NASCAR Cook Out Clash has been rescheduled for Monday, February 2 at 6:00 pm ET at Bowman Gray Stadium in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
