Michigan State football is the latest Final Four program to extend an offer to a high-level defensive lineman in the Windy City.
Chicago’s David Florenso announced Thursday that he received an offer from Michigan State. He learned of the Spartans’ offer by posting on his social media X account.

Florenso is listed as a three-star defensive lineman on 247Sports with an 87 recruiting grade. He ranks as the No. 66 defensive lineman in Illinois’ class of 2027 and the No. 20 player overall. He was also tagged as the No. 586 prospect in the class.
According to 247Sports, Michigan State joined more than 10 schools in making offers to Folorunsho. He also holds offers from Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kansas State, Miami (Fla.), Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Miami (Ohio) and Toledo.
