The Michigan State football team just added its third commitment of the day on Sunday, and after adding to the offense and defense, it’s fitting that this addition comes to special teams.
The Spartans, under new special teams coordinator LeVar Woods, have secured a commitment from Iowa State punter Reese Dakin. Dakin will replace Ryan Eckley, who declared for the 2026 NFL Draft, as the Spartans’ punter. He will head to East Lansing with two years of eligibility.
