Macey McIlhargey overcame traffic in a complete game, Lily Anderson drove in a double and drove in two runs, and Flathead defeated Missoula Hellgate 12-2 in a West AA softball game on Friday at ABS Park.
McHargy allowed 10 hits in five innings, striking out four Knights and adding an RBI single in the third to make it 7-2. The game ended in the fifth inning by mercy rule.

June Stickney, who scored twice and scored two goals, got in on a pass and Olivia Nyman had two steals to give Flathead a 2-0 lead in the first. The Bravettes added four runs in the second with RBI singles by Stickney and Sofia Todgson.
Flathead tacked on five runs in the fourth inning as McHargy and Danica Hennell sandwiched RBI singles around Anderson’s double to make it 12-2.
McIlhargey pitched the scoreless fifth, resolving an error and single to end the game. Hellgate defeated the Bravettes 10-7, but the Flatheads hitters allowed eight runs.
