Maxx Crosby not headed to Baltimore after Ravens back out of deal

The Baltimore Ravens have reportedly backed away from a proposed trade that would have sent Las Vegas Raiders star pass rusher Max Crosby to Baltimore.

The Raiders and Ravens have reached a deal that would send Crosby to Baltimore in exchange for the Ravens’ 2026 and 2027 first-round draft picks, but the deal won’t become official until the start of the NFL’s new league year at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

In 110 career games, Maxx Crosby totaled 69.5 sacks and 164 quarterback hits while being selected to the Pro Bowl five times and earning second-team All-Pro honors twice.

Crosby signed a three-year, $106.5 million contract extension with the Raiders last year but has been the subject of trade speculation in recent months. Jay Glazer of Fox Sports reported on February 4 that the standout defender was ready to leave the team.
