Bayern confirmed earlier this year that Goretzka would leave at the end of his contract.
Arsenal ‘lead’ in race for Leon Goretzka
The north London club expressed interest in signing Goretzka during the January transfer window, but Goretzka told them he had committed to Bayern to stay at the club for the remainder of the season.
Serie A leaders Inter Milan are also in the race for the Bayern midfielder, who has scored 48 goals in his career for the Bavarian giants.
Tottenham are also keen to sign Goretzka but their chances of landing him will be slim if they fail to secure European qualification for next season.

Christian Falk has informed Bayern Munich Arsenal ‘lead’ in race to sign Goretzka He loves the Premier League and his style of play suits English football.
What Falke thinks about Goretzka’s future
Christian Falk told Bayern Munich:
It’s true: Arsenal are currently leading the race for Leon Goretzka. From Goretzka’s perspective, this is certainly true. The Gunners made no bid in January but did say they were aware Goretzka was considering leaving Bayern. We have very specific negotiations with Atletico Madrid – their sporting director is in Munich. The player’s goal is to move to the Premier League; he would love to play for Arsenal. Of course, he can’t guarantee Arsenal will come back with a concrete offer in the summer. In his mind, he felt this would be a perfect next club.

I heard he loves the Premier League and that his style of play suits English football well. However, this summer he isn’t focusing on just one club, and one club only. If Arsenal were there, he would be more than happy to sit at the table and listen to offers. Tottenham Hotspur are also interested and that could be an option, but Spurs are not as attractive as Arsenal at the moment. Arsenal are playing very well at the moment and they are in the Champions League. It would be great for Leon Goretzka to win the Champions League with another club. So, we’ll just have to wait and see if Arsenal makes an offer!
