Lyon Coach Fonseca Wants to Extend Endrick Loan

According to ESPN Brazil, Lyon coach Paulo Fonseca has asked the club’s top brass to explore options to keep Ndrick outside of his current deal, saying he has been impressed by Ndrick’s direct influence and efficiency in front of goal.

Enderrick’s early impact on Lyon has done little to change Real Madrid’s long-term stance. Fabrizio Romano reports that the club’s board consider the Brazilian striker “100% part of future plans” and stressed that his loan move is developmental rather than transitional.

The numbers explain why. Since arriving in France, Ndrick has played three games in all competitions, scoring four goals and providing one assist – having contributed five goals in his first (3) appearances for Lyon.

His loan period runs until next June, but he remains linked with Real Madrid until 2030. While Lyon may be looking to extend the relationship, Real Madrid’s internal position appears to be firm: the club sees Enderrick as a long-term asset and part of the future core of their attack.
