When it was announced that the 2026 Royal Rumble would take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, many wrestling fans began to question how WWE would hide the event’s surprises when the company was scheduling multiple flights to the country. Several stars headed to Saudi Arabia early Tuesday morning after attending “WWE Raw” in Toronto, Canada, and according to a new report, the promoter is confident they will have no problem keeping the biggest surprise for the Royal Rumble a secret.
WWE plans to bring in talent for this week’s Royal Rumble weekend, including surprising names, and many sources within the company believe it will be easy to prevent the mystery talent from being leaked, Fightful Select reports. Throughout history, WWE has often worried about fans seeing its roster arriving at the airport or walking to arenas, and with the rise of social media, the issue has become even more concerning. Additionally, surprises can sometimes be difficult to hide with signature hounds camping in hotels and airports. However, with the plane to Saudi Arabia being chartered, WWE believes there will be more privacy once they arrive at the Royal Rumble.

Eastern Canada was hit with heavy snow on Sunday as competitors used multiple modes of travel this past weekend from Montreal’s Saturday night main event to Toronto for “Raw.” Nonetheless, WWE’s plans to travel to Saudi Arabia on Tuesday morning appear to be moving forward. Earlier this month, there were rumors that talent such as L.A. Knight, Tiffany Stratton, and Chad Gable would return to the Royal Rumble, all of whom were injured or absent from television for an extended period of time.
