According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, the Tennessee Titans will waive star defensive back L’Jarius Sneed on March 13, 2026.
Sneed, who began his career as a fourth-round pick of the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2020 NFL Draft, played in just 12 regular season games in two years with the Titans.

Sneed was a key member of Kansas City’s Super Bowl 57 and 58 rosters before being traded to Tennessee in 2024. In exchange for the star defensive back, the Chiefs received a third-round pick and a seventh-round pick from the Titans.
In his six-year NFL career, Snead totaled 10 interceptions, 6.5 sacks and four forced fumbles.
While it’s unclear whether Kansas City will inquire about reuniting with Snead in free agency, the Chiefs have needs in their secondary after parting ways with several key defensive backs in early March.
Stay tuned to see if Chiefs general manager Brett Veach makes a move to bring Snead back to Kansas City.
