Leopard sizes up tourists in ‘heart-in-throat’ safari encounter

Recently, tourists were caught on video trying to keep calm when a large leopard wandered into the shade of their vehicle to rest – just inches away.

The video was shared by Uganda-based Pearl Pulse Safaris, with the company’s guide describing the encounter as a “heartbreaking” experience.

The tour guide calmly reassures customers by repeating “It’s okay, don’t worry.”

Interestingly, the large predators within the reserve are accustomed to hunting vehicles and generally do not view visitors as a threat – as long as they stay inside and do not panic.

As for what’s in the video, one follower pointed out that it would be unwise to make eye contact with the leopard, while another said a man’s hand could be seen dangling outside the car in the back seat like a decoy.
