The police department noted that the investigation remains “active and ongoing,” adding that Arkansas law limits the amount of information that can be released publicly in cases involving minors and other sensitive situations.
“To protect the integrity of the investigation and the privacy of those involved, no further details will be provided at this time,” the department said.
The charges are part of an ongoing investigation into an incident first reported on Wednesday, March 18.
The latest filing alleges four additional counts for each of the former 19 Kids and Counting Star, who faces two previous charges of lewd and lascivious conduct with a victim under the age of 12 and lewd and lascivious conduct with a person 18 or older.
Kendra has new charges in the case.

The Bay County Sheriff’s Office filed charges against Joseph on March 18 after learning of an alleged incident in 2020 in which Joseph was accused of molesting a 9-year-old girl while on vacation with his family in Panama City Beach, Florida.
According to BCSO, the girl claimed that Duggar engaged in “illegal sex” by asking her to sit on his lap and later sat next to him under a blanket, where Duggar allegedly touched her inappropriately.
According to a BCSO statement, Duggar’s father questioned the girl about the accusations on the evening of March 17, and Duggar allegedly admitted to it at that time.
“As the vacation continued, he also asked her to sit on the couch next to him and cover them with a blanket. During this time, Duggar manipulated the victim’s underwear and abrased her genitals. Duggar would also continue to rub his hands on her thighs,” the statement reads.
The BCSO statement continued: “The victim stated that Dugar eventually apologized for his actions and that the incident ceased after the apology.”
Dugar was arrested in Arkansas, where he lives, but the case is being handled in Florida, where the alleged incident occurred. He must be extradited to Bay County to face charges.
Joseph, who has appeared on all four editions of his family’s TLC reality series, is a father of four and has been married to wife Kendra since 2017. Their wedding was featured in a 2017 episode. Count on.
