British stone. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — Joel Eriksson Ek scored with 23.1 seconds left to lift the Minnesota Wild to a 3-2 victory over the Ottawa Senators on Saturday.
Eriksson Ek’s one-timer from the right circle after a cross-ice pass from Marcus Johansson shocked the Senators, who tied the game from a 2-0 deficit.

Tyler Pitlick and Ryan Hartman also scored for Minnesota, while Jesper Wohlstetter made 34 saves.
Tim Stutzler had a goal and an assist for the Senators. Dylan Cozens also scored and Levi Merilainen stopped 22 shots.
After a scoreless first period, Pitlick scored on a deflection between Merilainen’s legs to put the Wild in front.
Hartman received a wonderful pass from Johnson at the left post to make it 2-0.
Ottawa then went on a 5-on-3 power play and the Wild were called for two minor penalties 24 seconds apart. Six seconds after the first free throw, Stutzler dived, grabbed the rebound and beat Wohlstetter.

The Senators tied the game early in the third period with another power-play goal after a hard penalty on Wilder Kirill Kaprizov. Cozens fired a wrist shot from high over the right shoulder of a screened Volstead.
The Wild were without guard Jonas Brodin and forward Marcus Zuccarello due to injuries. They are also awaiting the debut of defenseman Quinn Hughes, who was acquired in a trade with Vancouver on Friday night.
