Discussion about California Governor Gavin Newsom’s Presidential prospects end at Jessica Tarlov tell Jesse Waters“You’re so disgusting.”
In Wednesday’s installment five people Tarlov said on Fox News that Newsom’s opponents will try to use California as a cudgel to try to undermine his aspirations.
“There’s a push and a pull, but that’s what the debate is about,” she said. “Like when he and Ron DeSantis debated Sean Hannity, they did California v. Florida. When you come from a coastal state, especially a state as big as California, they’ve definitely had some bad years. We had a lot of poop on the sidewalks in San Francisco and so on. The Democratic primary is going to be tough. But he’s not afraid of a challenge. Democrats are looking for someone at this moment who’s willing to stand up and fight. He’s ready to do that.”
Waters responded by questioning whether Newsom’s identity as a white, straight man would be an issue in 2028. Greg Gutfield Also jumped in and helped the segment go off the rails:
WATERS: He’s a straight white guy. Is this a problem, Jessica?
Tarlov: I’m a big fan of straight white people myself. I married one. So, I guess everything will be fine.
Waters: Okay.
Gutfield: How dare you.
Tarlov: What? Him or me?
GUTFELD: Do you like straight white people now?
Tarlov: Not exactly. I think I like everyone but I married one.
Gutfeld: Okay.
WATERS: Is he a Christian?
Tarlov: Brian is Catholic.
WATTERS: Okay, just checking. Just want to make sure we check all the boxes.
Tarlov: And, all religions are good.
Gutfield: All of them?
WATTERS: I love having it documented here. Even Islam?
Tarlov: Get out. you are so disgusting
Waters: I’m just kidding. We love Muslims.
