Stephen Curry has been playing great basketball this season and shows no signs of slowing down despite approaching his 38th birthday. He averaged 27.3 points and 4.9 assists per game, shooting 46.8% from the field, 39.0% from three-point range, and 93.0% from the free throw line, which earned him an All-Star starting spot.
The Golden State Warriors sit in eighth place in the competitive Western Conference with a 27-22 record. However, Jimmy Butler recently suffered a season-ending injury, which has greatly affected the ambitions of Steve Kerr’s team.

Curry suspected of having ties to Israeli spies
That might not be the worst news for the four-time NBA champion, though, as his alleged ties to the war in Gaza have come under intense public scrutiny recently. The latest information on this story was reported by Nate Bear of ¡Do Not Panic! website.
“American basketball star Stephen Curry is investing in tech startups run by former IDF operatives who were crucial to building Israel’s digital architecture of apartheid and genocide,” Xiong wrote.

“Curry is considered one of the greatest figures in the history of the sport and has positioned himself as an advocate for social justice, investing through his venture capital firm Penny Jar Capital in companies that are run by and employ former Israeli spies.” Little Bear added.
Unfortunate circumstances?
Since the war in Gaza began, Israel’s military operations have drawn intense international attention, with rising civilian casualties, the scale of destruction and accusations of war crimes triggering global protests and heightened scrutiny of anyone thought to have ties to Israel.

As for “Penny Jar Capital”, it focuses on high-growth technology companies. While some of these startups have ties to Israel’s cybersecurity sector, there is no evidence that Curry is personally involved in politics or supports Israeli government or military operations, nor does he oversee the day-to-day operations of each investment. Therefore, this can also be seen as a series of unfortunate circumstances.
Nonetheless, fans’ reaction to the news can only be described as crazy. Social media is now awash with insults aimed at Stephen, who is often labeled a hypocrite for criticizing US authorities for causing the deaths of innocent civilians while allegedly being complicit in the suffering of innocent people in Gaza.

Curry invested tens of millions of dollars
Bell wasted no time in continuing his article about the two-time league MVP, detailing Curry’s alleged investment ties and claiming he had poured tens of millions of dollars into technology businesses owned and operated by Israeli spies.
“Previously unreported Curry’s ties to Israel and his ties to Israeli military intelligence once again highlight the pervasiveness of Zionist influence in the West and how Zionist networks purposefully cultivate influential cultural figures,” Xiong wrote.

“Curry’s ties to Israel also highlight the faux progressivism of many Democrats who decry racism and inequality and then work with one of the most racist and unequal societies on earth,” Little Bear added.
For now, this story is still in its early stages, and there’s little public information about Curry’s direct involvement in the broader situation, even though his investment is legal. If Bell’s claims are to be believed, there’s more to the story than initially appears, as this isn’t the first time Curry has reportedly been linked to Israel.
Regardless, it will be interesting to watch how this situation develops in the coming period.
