The Independence Day Speech 2021 is expected to begin at 7:30 am (IST) on Sunday, after Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hoist the national flag at the Red Fort. You can switch to DD National or DD News on Doordarshan to watch the live televised speech. Several private news channels including NDTV India and NDTV 24×7, part of the NDTV Group, will also broadcast the lectures live on Doordarshan. The live broadcast will be conducted in multiple languages.
If you don’t have access to TV or are not at home when the annual ceremony takes place, you can watch the live broadcast of the Independence Day speech through Doordarshan and the Press and Information Bureau (PIB) YouTube channel. You can also watch live PIB India Twitter account.
The private news outlet will also broadcast the Independence Day speech live on its YouTube channel.
While the speech is expected to begin at 7:30 am IST, the Independence Day event will begin at 6:25 am IST, according to a live broadcast scheduled on the Doordarshan National YouTube channel.
